EntrePass Qualifying Criteria (2024 Updated)

Applicants must meet at least ONE of these criteria:

  • Raised SGD 100,000+ from recognized investors in any business
  • Business supported by government-recognized or renowned incubator/accelerator
  • Hold IP that cannot be easily replicated
  • Research collaboration with Singapore university or A*STAR
  • Previously founded and sold a venture-backed business

Employment Pass (EP)

For foreign professionals working for a Singapore-registered company. Subject to salary thresholds and COMPASS scoring framework.

  • Minimum salary: SGD 5,600 (SGD 6,200 for financial services)
  • COMPASS framework applies from September 2023
  • Initial validity: 1-2 years, renewable
  • Company must demonstrate genuine need for foreign talent
  • Points-based assessment for diversity, skills, and qualifications
  • Dependant pass available for salary SGD 6,000+
